By accessing or using ScoutNow (scoutnow.eu), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. The service

ScoutNow is a hockey scouting and recruitment platform that connects players, coaches, clubs, and agencies. We facilitate visibility and direct contact between users but do not act as a party to any transfer, contract, or agreement made between them.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on ScoutNow. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

5. Account types

ScoutNow supports four types of accounts:

— Player: individuals looking for clubs or opportunities

— Coach: head coaches, assistants, goalie coaches, scouts, and other coaching staff

— Club: organizations looking for players or coaches

— Agency: agents representing players and coaches

6. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for:

— Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

— All activity that occurs under your account

— Ensuring the information in your profile is accurate and up to date

— Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use

7. User conduct

You agree not to:

— Post false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content

— Impersonate any person or entity

— Harass, abuse, or harm other users

— Use the service to spam, phish, or distribute malware

— Scrape, copy, or extract data without permission

— Use the service for any illegal purpose

8. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit (bio, photos, videos, career history, etc.). By uploading content, you grant ScoutNow a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content for the purpose of operating the platform.

9. Pricing and subscriptions

ScoutNow is currently free for all user types until the end of season 2026/27. No paid features are sold during this period.

After the launch period:

— Players will continue to use the platform free of charge.

— Clubs, coaches, and agencies may be offered paid subscription plans. Pricing and features will be announced with reasonable notice.

If paid plans are introduced, billing will be on a subscription basis with cancellation available at any time from account settings. Refunds are issued only as required by applicable law.

10. Direct contact and transactions

ScoutNow facilitates connections between players, coaches, clubs, and agencies. We are not party to any contracts, transfers, salary agreements, or other arrangements made between users. We make no representations about the quality, suitability, or legality of any user, profile, or arrangement made through the platform.

11. Verification

Profiles may be marked as "verified" after manual review by our team. Verification is intended to confirm the authenticity of users and organizations. We make no warranty regarding any verified party beyond confirming that they appear to be a legitimate hockey-related entity at the time of review.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time from account settings; deletion is permanent and is subject to the data retention rules described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

ScoutNow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or zero if you are using the free version).

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia and applicable EU regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

15. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify users via email or in-platform notification and update the version number above. Continued use of ScoutNow after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
