FAQ for Players
Are players really free forever?
Yes. Players will never be charged. Every feature is included: profile, videos, EliteProspects link, dual citizenship, achievement badges, "Open to offers" toggle, direct messages, job notifications, and profile view analytics.
I have an agent. Can I still use ScoutNow?
Yes. Add your agent's details to your profile. Clubs see "Has agent" and contact your agent instead of you directly.
Do you support dual citizenship?
Yes. Add your secondary nationality and we display both flags plus an automatic 🇪🇺 EU Passport badge if either nationality is EU — important because EU passport holders count as "domestic" in EU league import rules.
What do clubs see when they view my profile?
Everything you've filled in — photo, position, age, nationality, stats, highlight videos, agent info if you added one. The more complete your profile, the more relevant your matches.

Will I be charged right now?
No. All coach features are free until the 2027/28 season. You'll get advance notice before any billing starts — no surprise charges.
What does the coach profile include?
Role specialization (Head Coach, Assistant, Goalie Coach, Video, S&C, Skills, Skating, Scout), coaching philosophy showcase, past teams résumé, certifications upload (IIHF, NCAA, federation diplomas), and direct messaging with clubs.
What is the private training feature?
You can offer private on-ice training and set your location (city + country). Players browse coaches available for private sessions in their area — useful for skills, skating, or goalie development outside the team context.
How do clubs find me?
Clubs search by role, experience, certifications, and location. When they post a coaching job that matches your profile, you get a notification — no need to browse postings manually.

What scouting filters do I get?
Filters that matter for actual recruiting: EU Passport (huge for import rules), National Team, Pro Experience, and International Experience. Combine with position, age, height, and league.
What is the Free Agent Tracker?
A dedicated tab showing only players actively looking for a club, sorted by most recent activity. What GMs use during transfer windows — instead of browsing the full list, you see only those who matter right now.
Can I pay by invoice later?
Yes — when paid plans activate after 2027/28. Many clubs are non-profit associations and pay by bank transfer rather than card. We'll support invoice (predračun) payments with proper legal details.

What does the agency account include?
Manage your player roster, find unsigned talent through the Free Agent Tracker, bulk-pitch multiple players to clubs with matching needs, post job opportunities, get a public agency page, and message clubs directly.
How does the bulk pitch feature work?
Instead of contacting one club at a time, you select multiple players from your roster and pitch them to all clubs looking for that profile (e.g. defensemen, goalies). Replaces dozens of cold emails with one workflow.
Can I represent both players and coaches?
Yes. Add anyone you represent to your roster. Each linked profile shows your agency badge so clubs know who to contact.
Which countries are supported?
ScoutNow is available worldwide. Players, coaches, clubs, and agencies from any country can register.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Hosted in the EU (Frankfurt), fully GDPR compliant. You control your data and can delete your account at any time.
Who can use ScoutNow?
ScoutNow is for users 18 and over. Players, coaches, clubs, and agencies from anywhere in the world are welcome.
