The Скопје Cтадо (Skopje Herd) return this winter, offering a unique chance to play serious hockey while helping grow the game in Skopje, Macedonia, one of Europe’s most underrated travel destinations. We train multiple times per week and compete in a structured, quality-focused schedule across the Balkans, giving players consistent ice time and real roles. Off the ice, you’ll live in a vibrant European capital and travel to nearby countries, combining competitive hockey with once-in-a-lifetime experiences. In 2026, the Cтадо begins its first full season, giving players the chance to compete while living in Skopje, one of Europe’s most underrated travel destinations. With multiple practices each week and a schedule focused on quality over quantity, the program is built for development and exposure. Players will also travel throughout the Balkans, experiencing new countries and cultures along the way. For the 2026/2027 season, we will play in the three team Macedonia Championship, along with the BHL, comprised of four teams in nearby Balkan countries. Our league is built around three main pillars. providing high level hockey to the region, giving youth hockey players in these communities proper mentors and showcasing the non-traditional hockey markets of Europe. with a season that utilizes strategic hubs for the regular season and playoffs, travel is minimized, allowing players the opportunity to have lives outside of hockey. fans have the opportunity to see quality hockey throughout the winter, leading up to the championship weekend where the Balkan Cup will be handed out.
